Dr.N.Kanniappan completed his post graduation orthopaedic Diploma in Kasturba Medical College Mangalore and Masters Degree in Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. He worked as consultant in orthopaedic surgery for four and a half years in Christian fellowship Hospital, Oddanchatram. Its a high volume centre catering orthopedic treatment to patients with spine disorders, fractures, sports injuries, arthritis and Pediatric orthopaedics disorders. Then he pursued his specialized training in spine surgery for two years. Later he worked as consultant in various multispecialty hospitals –Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Coimbatore Velammal Medical college hospital, Madurai; GKNM Hospital, Coimbatore in total of 6 years.

He refined his skills with advanced spine surgery fellowship and endoscopic spine surgery fellowship in Germany.He has performed independently around 3,700 surgeries involving simple and complex spine disorders,fractures,sportsinjuries,arthritis,pediatricorthopaedics
